I stopped using Facebook and instagram because they are a timesuck. In stead, I go to websites now. I have been reading Razorcake’s archived articles by Ryan Leach, also Billups Allen. I was going to write separately that Billups has become a heavy influence on me, from reading his zines, books, and blogs, to listening to him on the radio, and watching him on Goner TV. Another great resource is the Alternative Tentacles webpage and all of their artists + the story of the life of Jello Biafra. Music-wise, I’m listening to the Lost Sounds Lost Sounds LP. I have been getting lots of records lately, like every day. Pentagram, Alex Chilton, The Cramps, The Schizos, X, The Damned, The Descendents to name some of the artists whose work I have purchased recently. Yeah. I am over-spending like crazy. Plus, I quit my job last week. Now, I have no income. It’s something to stress about. Movies-wise, I saw Bonjour Tristesse, Secret Mall Apartment, and The Re-Animator played at the local theatre in Nashville. There’ve been lots of other movies I watched lately, too. Like, On Swift Horses. It was amazing.
